O.K I need a few suggestions. We are going to DTD to build the lightsaber for my son. So I was looking for opinions on which Restaurant to to go to , Wolfgang Puck Express or Earl of sandwich?
thanks

My family always to-go's at DTD, and I'm pretty sure that the Earl of Sandwich is slightly faster than Wolfgang Puck. Plus, I'd say the food is better. I love the Earl's sandwiches. The only downside is that it can get super crowded at dinner time.

I agree that Earl of Sandwich might be a bit faster, but we LOVED the food at Wolfgang Pucks on our last trip! DS said they had the best pizza ever (and he is an expert on pizza!) Earl has very delicious sandwiches, but Wolfgang offers other things as well as sandwiches. Look over the menus to see what would be more appealing.

I'd also make my choice depending on the time I had to spend. If I wanted something quick and good, Earl of Sandwich. If I wanted to relax and take more time, Pucks express.

I think you're going to get a lot of varied opinions here. I would prefer Earl of Sandwich but DH would prefer Wolfgang Pucks. Both are good I think - and I agree that Earl of Sandwich would generally be a quicker food experience but it can get insanely crowded at times!

We went to Earls once and threw the food away, it was awful....no better than Subway IMHO

We LOVE Wolfgang Pucks Express, the food is awesome, large portions and a very good price.

Earl of sandwich is good....great ceasar salad...and sandwiches...

I like Wolfgang puck BETTER....because....you can
get pasta....it is soooo good...and the pizza is great....well for FL;)
And they SERVE the food to you....like....chuck e cheese..

We like them both. DH can't miss out on the Earl sandwich and I can't miss out on the Wolfgang bbq chicken salad. So he orders for himself and my DD at Earls and meets my sons and I back at Wolfgang and we are both happy.

We tried to eat at Earl of Sandwich at lunchtime & the line was out the door, went over to Wolfgang Puck Express & walked right in, no line at all. We thought the food was excellent & varied(I had a salmon cobb salad that was incredible). We liked it so much that we went back & used our extra cs points for take-out to eat as dinner at the airport.

Both places are very good :thumbsup2 but myself personally, I like Wolfgang's. I love that smell right when you enter DTD...the woodburning oven smell! Wolfgang's has alot of different things on the menu. Earl's is very good also but as everyone has already said, it does get very crowded at peak eating times. If you have some time to kill and aren't in a big rush, I'd opt for Wolfgang's...the quesedilla is very good!!

If you are on the dining plan I think you get more for you money at Wolfgang Puck. Plus you can get a sandwhich anywhere, how many places can you get Wolfgang Puck? I do like both places but my choice would be WP.

I like both, but I give the edge to WP for variety of food choices. After all, Earl is just sandwiches. They were good, but still just sandwiches.

I haven't eaten at the Earl of Sandwich (only went in to get some bottled water) but I have ALWAYS had great luck with Wolfgang Puck Express! The food has always been excellent there. My kids loved the pizza!

Another vote for Wolfgang Puck. We went there on our last trip in Jan and went back two more times. It was awesome. The best pizza and cheese quesadillas(i know i spelled it wrong). It is my favorite resturant in Disney. We ate at Earl's once but I didn't care for it. I would go to Wolfgang Pucks.

My DH and I actually look forward to and plan a few meals over at Puck's. We have dined there for breakfast (the french toast is unbelievably delicious!), lunch and dinner and have never been disappointed. The food is consistenly as good if not better than most of the table service restaurants inside the World. It does get crowded however, and the line comes outside of the restaurant at peak dining times so plan to eat a bit early if possible. There are not that many tables so you need to spot one, save it and then send someone on line to order. But this slight hassle has been worth it everytime. They are also on the DDP and that is another plus. It only counts as a counter service and it comes with a refillable drink and dessert, too. Enjoy!
