Earbuds or Headphones?

i don't know WHY people like ear buds.
i honestly can't stand them because they won't freaking stay in my ears, & i'm always preoccupied as to whether or not they are in the correct ear or not. i ONLY ever like them when i don't want huge headphones (me loffs) on my head or i don't want something with a cord a mile long.

but in any other case- headphones. humonguous ones.

so what do you like better & WHY? PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME WHY EARBUDS ARE SO GREAT >___<

btw i just chucked my ears buds across the desk & put my Sennheiser ones in my MP3.

You know, I HATE those iPod earbuds. They never stay in when I'm running, so I look like an idiot trying to fix them. I think they make them that way so you'll buy their other headphones. Even they don't stay in though.

Yeah. I love my big headphones. I do have a pair of earbuds that I stick in my purse, though. Because it's hard to bring huge headphones around with you.

they should come on them. my Microphoto did.

i always use headphones because i only got my MP3 the other day, but generally, my music is on the pc and ear buds just make me scream.

for me it depends, earbuds when i am just listening for funn because they are smaller, but headphones or the earbud types with the band that goes behind the ear when i am running

I have those and I love them!



I hate those little earbuds tho, they never stay in my ear unless I sit still stiff as a stick.

i love the ones that go behind your ears too. but i haven't bought any.
i have my sony ones that are like that, but are complete headphones, so they hide nice in the winter on a walk.

& i have some nice big Sennheiser headphones that i adore. cos they're big, fit nice on my head & make everything sound better.

I hate the feeling of when the bud starts slowly falling out, you can feel it. & i get this BIG wave of irritation when i feel i plop on the arm that i'm typing with.

yes, i'm the only person who can be triggered with angry emotions by having ear buds falling out...

I use earbuds (but dislike them). But, if I had a choice, I would choose the headphones that wrap around your ear... sorta like this:

Those are my favorite. If only they were less bulky.

They'd be great for long car trips (cuz of my younger siblings, they SCREAM so much. I just need to get away, but we have an incredibly small car)

I don't like earbuds. I have some headphones. They do cover my ears, but it can't be a metal across the top. Kike the apple ones I think. Those make you feel like they are going to fall off any minute. The ones I have has a big plastic black band across it. The ones I like look like this

I have custom made ear buds. They are the same ones you see on your favorite artist when they are performing live. They are call in ear monitors. This allows the artist to hear themselves, and any other part of the band. I had a custom made mold of my inner ears, and then they get made into really, really good ear buds. They are expensive, but I use them when I am mixing live shows, listing to the iPod, or anything else. They will cut out most if not all outside noises. They are kind of weird getting use to shoving these things in your ear, but I don't have to turn up the volume as much as I use to since they are farther in the ear. Sorry, I had to rant but I really love these things. Its like being at a concert. Here is a link to the place that makes them if you guys want to check out what they look like.
