Earache Help

DH is home today with an earache..cannot get into the dr until tomorrow.

Anyone know how to help it stop hurting?

That's a shame they can fit you in today. An earache is awful to have to put up with.

Can he take Motrin/Advil (ibuprofen)? I find that is the best OTC pain reliever and keeps the edge off the pain as long as you keep up with the dosing. If you take 3 of those at time (as is advised for menstrual cramps or severe back aches), it should really help.

Similisan - not sure on the spelling - but I just had the same thing happen here last week. Find it at your local drug store. DH said it worked like a charm!
