Ear Piercing

Okay so i've always wanted to get my ears pierced but I will admit, I am VERY wimpy at times.
I hate needles and all that so i've never gotton them pierced because i was too scared.
Most people have told me that it doesn't hurt but some people have told me that it did hurt.
I was just wonderin what yall would say about it.

So, Does it hurt or does it not hurt?

It hurts for like, the first 5 minutes.
It's honestly no worse than a shot.
And after that it just feels sore.

Honestly, I think it hurts worse getting them re-pierced, than getting them pierced for the 1st time.

Claire's is a good place to get the done.
I've had my ears done twice.
Getting my ears done at Claire's hurt less than getting them done Piercing Pagoda, where I got them done the first time.

I'd bet it has a lot to do with the person handling the piercing gun.

FWIW, I got mine at Claire's as well, and have no complaints whatsoever. And it didn't hurt when she did it, but it felt kind of 'fat' and 'throbby' for a while afterwards. No regrets whatsoever.

I think it hurts.
Mine closed up again, so once I finish chemo I'm getting mine done again.

Doesn't hurt at all!!

Trust me I've gotten them pierced 3 times in my life.

The first time I was just an itty bitty baby and so I wouldn't remember.. (In my culture -Hispanic-, its not rare for a baby just a few days old to get them pierced)

The second and last time were because they closed up, both of those times were at Claire's. No pain at all, I got to hold the claire bear the second time The only thing is that you'll feel pain when they punch it in and the minutes after. But its a piece of cake..you'll do fine when they'll pierce them

Doesnt hurt at all, for a minute but thats it, ALOT better then a needle.
Claries is a great place to get your ears pierced.

Yeah I didn't feel anything. I have my ears pierced 2 times on each ear.

I got mine done with I was like 6 months old so I don't really remember.
But they close up sometimes and it doesn't hurt when I push a needle or earing to open it again. :]

its a sharp pain for a split second.. than it just feels a bit weird for a few hours... you dont even realize that its in most of the time.. for the first week, itll only hurt if you pull on it and such... after that, you wont even remember its in lol

It only hurts for like 5 seconds, like a shot but not as bad.

I've had them pierced 5 times now... they always get infected and grow back in

It's just a little pinch and it's done
Just make sure you take care of it and don't get an infection, I'm sure that hurts like hell

BTW, I've gotten both my ears pierced twice

i've had both of my ears pierced twice. All the originals done with guns. The re piercing was all done by hand. (my hands. if you're wondering)

it doesn't hurt. even when done by hand. its just slower.

I've gotten my ears pierced 4 times, two bottom, two cartilage. Trust me, I didn't feel it at all. It depends on the person though..
The cartilage I did at Claire's about a year ago.
The bottom I did at the doctor's when I was less than one.

i only have my ears pierced once when i was nine
i was like the last of my friends to get them pierced but i didn't really care

i want to get a second hole so probably just randomly i'll go to the mall and get them done

I pierce them at work (wallyworld) and if you're scared, see if two people are there to do it at the same time. That way each one can get an ear and you won't be dreading the second one. I tell people it's like a pinch.
