Ear Hats Personalizing

Can all Ear Hats be personalized? I'd love to get them done for my kids, they have their eye on the Cars Land Ears Hat and the Glow with the Show Ears.

No, there are some that can't be personalized. I have had 2 different previous generation glow with the show ears and they could not be personalized. I don't believe that the current ones can either.

And even among those that can be personalized, I believe there are some that can't be done with the (cheaper) classic lettering. The Minnie ears had to be done in the more expensive lettering, but I don't recall what the reason was.

It all depends on the hat in question. Some hats cannot be embroidered because of extra ornamentation on them, or the fabric used. In some cases because of the thickness of the hat they can only use the premium embroidery and not the basic, as the PP mentioned. The Minnie polka dots, I believe the Goofy hat is another that requires the premium embroidery.

For your specific question, the Cars Land ears are good for both premium and basic, but the glow with the shot hats are a no.

My son got the Lightning McQueen ears at California Adventure two years ago and had it personalized. It looks just like the traditional mickey ears, but the "ears" are Lightning's wheels. They have a TON of designs just like that, kind of a spin off from the original design. All of those can be personalized, I know for sure.

I also know that the Little Mermaid ears cannot be personalized. The CM said that the jewels interfered with the machine so they had to stop personalizing those.
