Ear bud help?

I cannot wear the new ear buds that come with the newer Ipods, they hurt my ears, really badly. I was looking for some new ones today, but there are so many out there, I have no idea which ones have good sound. Anyone have some they love that they would like to tell me about? I want the kinds that have the round pieces that go into your ear, not the ones that sit just inside the ear like the Apple ones do.

Those earbuds hurt my ears very badly as well. I have a pair of Sony earbuds that fit into your ear - they come with 3 different size tips so you can customize the fit. I also have an orange "marshmallow" set that fits in the ear from Walmart - I can't tell the difference in sound quality. They are both very comfortable too.

Sometimes ear muffs on the ear buds make them more comfortable.

They're extremely comfortable. They come with 3 different sized pieces that fit into your ear, so you can find which one is best for your. They're not officially noise canceling headphones, but they do block out a lot of noise.

I had another pair similar to these that broke after about 2 years. I've had these for over a year and they're still great. My friend has had these for over 3 years and hers are still going strong.

Everyone in my family loves skull candy. We have the kind that comes with 3 different sizes. They are wonderful.

I couldn't wear the kind that came with my ipod either. I'm a fan of the skullcandy earpieces too. They're much more comfortable and the sound is great.

the skullcandy ones are amazing. They have 3 different ear piece covers so you can pick which size fits best. Only con to them is that my ear piece part kept falling off. So I lost one and i'm now back to my apple ones

I also cannot use the ones that came with my Ipod. They make my ears ache, literally.

I love Ifrogz! Their Earpollution Plugz noise isolation ear buds are great. Each set comes with 3 ear fit pieces for those of us with smaller/ sensitive ears. lol I LOVE mine! I purchased 2 sets...I have the other as a backup. No way could I go back to those Apple Ear buds.

You can order these off of the Ifrogz website or Wal-Mart. The Ifrogz website also has custom covers & things. The covers are great for drops. I drop my video classic Ipod all the time & the case has protected it.
