Yeah, but Peyton was trying so hard to give that game to Baltimore. Luckily Mcnair was trying to give the game to the Colts. Of course I was really happy since I HATE the Ravens...(wonder why? )

I sincerly hope that Peyton sucks it up and wins it all so I can stop hearing DH say he's gonna choke like he always does.

We are watching it now. Things are tense at our house. We are all from the Gulf Coast so it is so rare for us to have our team to root for this late in the season. My 4 year old just walked upstairs to bed chanting who dat.

All ego aside, I was on the edge of my seat during the entire game. Although I do not subscribe to the Papa Deuce conspirancy theory, my hats off to the Birds. They broke the big plays when they needed to. I have much respect for the gameplan they had tonight.

As a longtime Eagles fan (as in, since birth), my DH taught me a phrase about them when we married...not sure where he got it from, but unfortunately it has described many a game:

"The Eagles, always able to snatch defeat from the arms of victory."

This was a good, close game, which for a while I (who only watches football when DH has it on) was the only one watching the game. DH was dozing on the couch and DS was playing on the computer. Congratulations and best of luck to the Saints!
