Eagle Pines

I keep hearing about Eagle Pines, but I'm not sure exactly what it is. (It's even mentioned in my DVC contract.) This was an announced DVC resort that was never built? Where was it supposed to be? What was the theme?

It is a mythical golf resort located somewhere between Utopia and Shangri-la (and not far from the Eagle Pines golf course). At one time this was announced as the "next" DVC location, but was superceded by SSR.

Interesting article. It looks pretty in the drawing. I also find it interesting that this one was supposed to be very large just like SSR is.

Well.. SSR took EP's place... Disney gave the Disney Institute to DVD and that area was more marketable being next to DTD.
