Eagle Pines

I hope that the design of this DVC resort provides the same kind of "home away from home" feeling that we get when we visit OKW. Not that BWV/WLV/BCV are all that bad, but they seem to have a different atmosphere surrounding them. Do you agree?

BWV definitely has a different, more hotel-like atmosphere. Have not stayed at VWL but probably similar. You are probably correct that Eagle Pines will be more of the home away from home atmosphere like OKW. As there different strokes for different folks, as a BWV owner who prefers its atmosphere over OKW, I consider that possibility for Eagle Pines to be a reason why I probably will not buy or stay there.

I think the new resort is going to try and do both....like Vero. It will have both an Inn (including restaurants, health club, etc.) and the villa buildings, including GVs. It sure looks like it will be a very beautiful resort that may have something for everyone right there!

I agree that the new one looks to be a combination of both. The problem I see here is that those who like BWV often say it is the location they like, not necesarrily the hotel atmosphere. Too bad Eagle Pines location will only have a golf course for perks. At OKW we also have proximity to DD.
