This will be my first rental with my new EA card. I found out from another thread I have to go to the counter first to verify my information. (Apparently if I read the info they sent me I would have known this!! :teeth: )

Can I do this at the counter in the garage or do I have to go to the in terminal counter?

I don't know because I'm in the same boat - but even if you have to go to the in-terminal counter, it's PAINLESS. I've never seen more than five people in line for National... while I've been observing that line from my position as number 45 or so in the Alamo line. Hard to believe they're owned by the same company - and share the same stock of vehicles....

I forgot to mention in the other thread that there's an emerald aisle lane at the in-terminal counter - it should be painless.

I used my Emerald Club membership for the first time in October. We just picked a car and left, no stopping at any counters.

We did use an e-coupon, but didn't make any additional requests (like a carseat) that required a stop at the counter.

I did give the gal at the booth a pile of papers (e-coupon, reservation), my credit card, my Emerald Card, and driver's license.

We use EA in Orlando all the time and just did this past weekend...print out your reservation and any coupons...go to the EA and pick out a car...drive to the booth and hand the reservation, coupon, EA Card, License to the person in the booth...drive off...it's a 10 minute process if there are no other cars in front of you.
