E won't take his frog shirt off

He has been wearing the same frog tank top for...well today is the 3rd. Everytime I try to take it off he screams and fights to keep it on....while screaming OGGIE OGGIE (Froggie). The shirt looks like hell. So I finally wrestle it off and get him dressed in fresh clean clothes...he goes upstairs to play.

He just came down in the frog shirt! He got into his hamper and put the shirt back on!! Oh, being 2 is so much fun! (Note our morning hair and lovely shirt stains)

I can sympathize. My son is 3 and his fave is the "crab" shirt. He'd wear it every day if he could.

DD4 loves her floral tank top. I have convinced her that it must be washed between wearings. However, her Barbie flip flops (2 sizes too big, I might add) are filthy. I have scrubbed them but they are still disgusting. And she wants to wear them every day.

E is just too cute in that shirt. I can't believe he got it out of the hamper.

LOL - too cute. I can totally sympathize. My daughter is 2 also and ran to her hamper the other day yelling kitty pajamas. She wanted to wear her Hello Kitty pj's to daycare.

When my oldest was that age, DH went to TN on a business trip and bought DS a blue t-shirt with a pic of the Chattanooga Choo-choo. DS was CRAZY about trains at that age and he wanted to wear that t-shirt every single day. He would cry if I tried to take it off, I told DS that I had to wash it, but that didn't matter. Finally, I came up with the idea of telling him that "the train" needed to be washed and he went for that.
