e-tickets and fastpass?

My wife is eligible for ticketsatwork, which would save us $50 per ticket over Disney's standard pricing. But, I can't find any answer to the simple question:

I want to link these tickets to MDE so I can make fastpass selections (we're 60 days from arrival today).

Do I need physical tickets, or can I link an e-ticket?

I just looked on MDE, and there is a place that says "link tickets" and when you click on that, it prompts you to "Enter your Will Call Confirmation Number or Ticket ID for up to 10 tickets or passes." So I assume that as long as you have that number, you can add it into MDE, then you should be able to make your FP+ reservations. If it doesn't work online, call and have someone help you.
