E-ticket Parkhoppers

Has anyone purchased these off of Disneyland.com? I need tickets for our upcoming trip, but I used to buy them at our local CAA (Canadian AAA) office and they no longer sell them.
Do you actually take the ticket you print off at home to the gate like a regular ticket?
My other thought was if I could buy tickets at the GCH when we check in, but I don't know if I would get the special pricing or the regular gate price.

Yes, you take the printout straight to the turnstiles like you would a regular ticket. They will scan it and then hand you a real ticket that you can use to get FastPasses. It is usually cheaper to order online ahead of time than it is to buy them at the parks.

At the GCH will be the gate price.

If you do the Eticket. They will email the ticket to you which you print out. All of them not just the confirmation page but all the emails, so you have an Eticket for each person in your party. Take them to the turnsyles. They will be scanned there and you will be given regular park hoppers to use throughout your visit.

remember to PRINT THE TICKET not the email. Everyday people who bought tickets online bring the emails up to the ticket windows with a sad face because they didn't follow the instructions. All the time saved is now wasted in line and at the window while they try to find your tickets.
