E-Ticket Lounge at DLH moved for 7 days

For fireworks viewing, they have a roped off area at Paradise Pier hotel where they are providing snacks also. You just need to have your name on the concierge list. They did have hot appetizers tonight!
This is a somewhat related question, but i thought I read somewhere that anyone could go up the pool are of PPH to view fireworks? Is this where you are talking about?

You can if you’re staying at PPH.
We will be this summer & thought it sounded like a good option for our kids so they could be in their PJ's & head to bed quickly right after but not if it was roped off exclusively for club level only so that was why I was asking. Thanks!

The DLH club people are just getting to use the spot temporarily since the view from club level is a selling point that’s non-existent with their lounge out of commission. Normally they wouldn’t be at PPH at all. I’m sure normal PPH guests still have plenty of viewing space, but in either case, shouldn’t be an issue after this week.

I don't want to spoil things or bring anyone down, but those are normal DLH CL desserts. I love the mini cheese cakes. And they rotate the cake pops and macarons. The Mickey cakepops are chocolate and the Minnie ones are vanilla. They rotate the hands, feet, and pants on macarons.

Oh wow! They didn't have those last time we were there, which was about 3 years ago. My very favorite thing was the homemade potato chips with the green salsa stuff (not really meant to be paired, probably, but SOOOO good).

Chef Marcel started changing the desserts and foods up there about 2016 or so. The change up in the appetizers has been nice. And adding the Mickey waffles. I believe there are other changes coming over the next year.

We made sure to have the home made chips every day this week. So yummy. Last nights offerings was spring roles, little meet balls and chicken on a stick.

Malcon, I'm always curious when you post! It sounds like you frequently stay in the penthouse suites in the DLHs and do many VIP tours throughout the year. Does Disney offer promotional things like this in exchange for your reviews or do you "know" someone higher up in Disney? Hopefully this doesn't come across as being nosy, I'm just always so fascinated when reading your replies for things like this! :)

Depending on how many are visiting with me, we will do a 1-2 bedroom suite to avoid multiple rooms. (I do get AP discounts on rooms, but not for reviews. Imagine my last stay at the Grand!) We don't stay in the specialty suites. We stay off site when it is convenient, on site when it makes more sense. I have a great, but very stressful job and often when I travel I am still working. (My work week often can be 70 hours. I have to be available hours not only for East coast but for Europe and Australia. So while I may be talking at 6am to someone on the east coast because it is 9am there, I am also working at 8pm because it is 2pm the next day in Australia....) Because of this, my bosses make sure I am comfortable where ever I am staying and I have perks.

Interesting! Well, that's awesome that you get to stay and enjoy Disney frequently. Thanks for responding! :)
