E-Ticket Comes out Tomorrow

darn ... since I am "trapped" at work, is it mentioned when it might be out?

In the most recent podcast they said they were holding off on releasing it for "a few more weeks" to make some changes to it.

It makes me wonder if it was rejected from the App Store and they have to do revisions to get it accepted. I was surprised when they initially gave a specific release date, because the App Store approval process is notoriously fickle. Things get rejected for strange and often unpredictable reasons. I've never heard of any developer knowing for sure when their app or updates will be approved (look at Google Voice, supposedly still being "reviewed" after months. Of course that is a special case, now involving the FCC. I doubt Project X will be that controversial!) I follow the developers of some of my favorite apps on Twitter, and they are always talking about how their updates have been submitted and they have no idea when they'll be approved.

Hopefully Project X will make it through smoothly and quickly because I'm excited to try it out!

I hope the App is out before I take my wife and daughter to WDW in Dec. I was looking forward to using it while I was there. I guess I'll just keep checking every few days :surfweb:

If the team is still working on the app development completion and it won't be released for "a few more weeks", I'd expect this will be a month or so easily before it's available to us poor iphone owners.

Some friends of mine write apps and they have had 4-6 week wait times while Apple reviews and certifies apps after they are submitted. They are getting better and faster but it might be a bit of a wait so don't wear out your App Store refresh button just yet!

Looking forward to it as soon as we can get it!!!

Does anyone know if this app is voice over accessible? As a visually impaired user, this is essential. Apparently, it is a simple line of code to make an app voice over accessible.

You might want to pose this question in a new Thead or in a email to the Podcast team, to get an answer.
