We just returned for a short trip to WDW. We attended Monday's e-ride night and I just want to mention some changes from last year.

Same as previous E-ride nights:
Haunted Mansion
Splash Mountain
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
Space Mountain
Buzz Lightyear

New to E-ride nights:
Mickey's Philharmagic
Peter Pan's Flight
The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh ride

No longer part of E-ride nights:
Astro Orbiter
Country Bear Jamboree
Tomorrowland Transit Authority

Longest wait we had was after Wishes for Space Mountain. Everyone headed that way. Wait was about 5 minutes. Everything else we walked on.

how interesting....that is a change...
when we went to e-ride nights, fantasyland was always closed....
in fact you couldn't walk through fantasyland to get from tomorrowland to the haunted mansion.....you had to walk around....
is that still true, or did they let you walk through from the haunted mansion into fantasyland?

i'm sorry to see the TTA isn't open on enights.....that's one of our all-time favorites....

Those FantasyLand rides sound like a BRILLIANT addition. Although I ride Pooh and Peter Pan first thing in the morning, the lines by 11am are just AWFUL - this will allow night owls a chance to ride without standing in line for 45 minutes plus:cool:

could someone explain the e ride nites to me? Do you have to also use a ticket for the day as well as pay add'l money? I will be arriving late and don't want to use a days pass. But would be willing to pay the add'l for the night.
thanks, Donna

What are the hours and cost for Eride nights? We will be there from July 27- Aug. 3rd 2004.
Thanks.:hyper:

So can a person purchase e-ride tickets if they stay at the value resorts?

We were @ wdw 5/9 - 19th. The trial for the E - nights was taking place. The Country Bear's were part of the deal. No wait's. No bumping into people. It was great. I loved the fact that we could return back to the resort and swim with out and still have 3 hours in the park to enjoy rides and see the shows.

MGM was the same. very few people. We were able to just walk up and enjoy the show/ride.

The animal kingdom was the same. We were able to get on the raft ride 3 times with no wait. That was great! At one point they were letting people just stay on the ride.

We did not have to pay any extra $ for this. Did disney ever start charging for this ?

As long as you are staying on property, you can buy an E-Ticket.

Excellent news, lets hope the lines continue to be short after the 4th of July! ::MickeyMo

The trial period that Bhillier refers to from May of this year was actually for Extra Magic Hours (EMH) held in the evenings... I believe. Those were NOT extra money. That was a trial variation of the longstanding EMH -- extra magic hour typically offered on various mornings to guests on property... E-nights are additional cost (please refere to the allearsnet link to find the price -- approx $15 for adults and $10 for kids *I think) - This DOES require regular admission to the park -- be it via a park hopper pass, single day pass, AP, Ultimate PH -- whatever -- but basically you do have to pay the $50 or so in a day's worth of admission PLUS the extra $15 or so to be able to stay for e-night. I hope this clears things up a bit. We have a late arrival also -- on an e-night -- not sure if we'll go to it as it would be a LOT of money just to go in for the e-night!

Thanks for the information! We're planning on doing an Enight on June 14. I'm glad they changed the rides to include the Fantasyland attractions. :D

I'm so excited!!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Looks like e-ride will be available when we are at WDW. I didn't think it would since we are going in July and the park closes so late.

Yippee!!! :thewave: :cheer2: :cheer2: :thewave:

R the characters out for the E-Nights?

We saw Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Pluto in front of Cinderella's Castle during E-ride night this past Monday. I don't recall ever seeing them before but then again my Daughters had me running between Space Mountain and Splash Mountain.

"This DOES require regular admission to the park -- be it via a park hopper pass, single day pass, AP, Ultimate PH " from minmate..Actually I always heard you had to have a multi-day ticket. When we bought ours Monday I had to show one of our Seasonal passes before I could buy.

Yes, to purchase e-night tickets, you must have (and use the day of e-night) a multi-day hopper pass.

The characters are out for e-night, but, I personally have never seen them anywhere other than the hub in front of the castle.

We've danced under the stars with Minnie and boogied with Pluto and Goofy on e-nights in the past, although lately, I've only seen them under the little wrought iron shelter-type things on the walk on either side of the castle, in a very controlled enviornment.
Don't know if we'll ever boogie again....

The entertain manager told me that the Fab 5 characters were the ones who would be out in front of the castle for E-night. But we never saw Donald Duck (didn't exactly search for him either - jusat diodn't see him with the others). Also, a CM said it was all of the Fast Pass rides with the exception of Jungle Cruise that were open for E-night . It stays open 3 hours after the park closes.
