That's the one thing that concerns me. If I decide to do it we will take a nap during the late afternoon and then head over. If we do it we will do the one that is on our last night so we can sleep later in the morning.

We'll be at the July 9th e-night! Woo hoo!::yes::

Lori-NY Thank you! Thank You! :bounce: :Pinkbounc

I didn't realize until I just saw your post! WooHoo, I'm so excited!!

I'm planning on July 16.:wave2:

I wonder if this means that the "testing" period for the extra magic hours will not be conducted in July? We should plan according to the "old" EMH schedule.

I will be at the MK June 4th E-ride night, but although we are staying at the Pop Century we are only buying a one day ticket,so I guess we cannot buy E-ride tickets. However, will we be forced to leave the park at 9PM closing or can we continue to walk around and shop, etc?

When we did an enight, everyone who bought a ticket, got a wrist band. I saw quite a few people, without the bands, being asked to leave.

I don't want to sound uneducated since we have been to Disney the last 10 years, but I never knew about e-ride nights (we've always stayed off-site before). I found out something about it today and bought hopper passes so we could take advantage (we were only going to do a few park days). Could someone explain about e-ride nights to me? I know it costs extra and only some of the rides are open but that there isn't much of a wait. That's about all I know. Help!

Only Walt Disney World Resort guests who are using multi-day or annual passes for admission to the
theme parks are eligible to purchase and redeem "Magic Kingdom E-Ride Nights" tickets. Tickets may
only be purchased at Walt Disney World Resort Guest Services Desks, including the Walt Disney World
Dolphin, the Walt Disney World Swan, Shades of Green and the Downtown Disney Area Hotels.

Please note that the "Magic Kingdom E-Ride Nights" ticket does not provide admission into the Magic
Kingdom Park; it simply allows guests to remain in the park for three extra hours. It must,
therefore, be used in conjunction with the admission media previously mentioned. Guests must
exchange their "Magic Kingdom E-Ride Nights" tickets for wristbands at locations inside the Magic
Kingdom Park.

For more information about this event, please inquire at your resort's Front Desk or Guest Services
location upon arrival.

Us too! At least on the 4th, we'll decide about the 7th after we do the first one.

I'm confused:confused: When we went to E-ride night last July we actually spent the day at Epcot. The above post leads you to believe you have to be in MK to take advantage of the e-ride night by allowing you to stay for an extra 3 hours. That was not the case for us. Actually, they didn't even ask us to present our pass that we used for admission to Epcot earlier in the day.

Can anyone clarify this?

You have to have been in a park that day, or use a day on your hopper to get into the MK. You have to use something to get through the turnstiles.

It doesn't matter where you begin your day...we're going to MGM in the morning the day of our enight....this only means that the e night pass will not allow you in the park, itself. You must use a day on your hopper ticket to get into the Magic Kingdom.

Thanks georgina and Dopey Sharon-I thought you could be at another park the same day as the e-ride night, as that was what we did last year, but just wondered because the way the info from the site was worded was a little misleading. I just didn't remember using our pass again that evening but I guess we did.

Thanks for clearing that up for me! Can't wait for our e-ride night on July 2nd!!

If you're using a park hopper, don't forget to get your hand stamped, when you leave the first park you go to that day.
