E-Ride Night Crowds in July?

We are thinking of hitting the e-ride night on July 22. This is kind of an impromptu trip with my mother (age 60+), my DS (age 8), and my nephew (age 12). I think the boys are both old enough to do the late-night thing, as long as we get some relaxation time in during the afternoon. But I don't want to bother with e-ride night if the crowds are as bad as they are during the day. I know during the off-times, e-ride night is wonderful. Is it still pretty good even in the middle of summer?

We went last year and it was not really that busy. They cap the number of tickets that are sold so it is nowhere close to how many people are in the park during the day. It was roughly the same date last year that we went and there were a couple of rides that we just remained on because there were no lines! I would definitely go for it. Extra benefit: it is cooler at night (not much, but at least you are not baking in the sun) than during the day!
