E Nights in March

I posted this reasoning for lack of E-ride nights on another board.
It seems no one as considered the main reason there are no E-ride nights scheduled so far this year. WDW has made a commitment to show Wishes every night this year, except for the nights when there is a hard-ticket event, such as MNSSHP and MVMCP, when the MK closes early. So, in order to show Wishes it has to be dark, and the park is staying open an average of 2 hours later this year than last year. This will be especially noticeable in the spring and fall months. Since staying open later costs Disney more in operating costs, I guess they figured they couldn't afford to stay open even later for E-ride nights.
Look at it this way, you're getting the entire park an additional 1-2 hours for the same admission price, versus only 9 attractions for an additional $12. I know it doesn't explain why they aren't having them during the busy season, but it's the best I can come up with!

Interesting thought - I did not think of comparing the hours this year to last

I don't think this is the case. I attended e-nights during the last week of Feb/first week of March in 2000, 2001, and 2003. The earliest the parks closed on those e-nights was 7 pm. In 2001 on one of the nights we watched The Main Street Electrical parade prior to e-night. E-night ran from either 7-10 or 8-11. I believe the Saturday night of each week the park was open to 9.

This year I also went to Disney the last week of February. MK was scheduled to close at 7 most nights (even with Wishes showing). One night it closed at 8 and one at 9, and I believe those were the two nights Spectro was shown.

So the park is not open an extra two hours and we're still not getting e-nights.
