E-night or Illuminations Cruise?

Situation is.... I have an illuminations cruise booked for the only night there is an E night during my trip... also this will be the last chance to ride BTMR before it closes for rehab.

So ~ do I stick with my Illuminations Cruise and forget E night and BTMR or do I forget about the cruise and enjoy MK?

BTMR is closing August 24th for a couple of months...

The illuminations cruise ~ that is the only night available (they are really hard to get) you booked them through WDW ~ I think the phone number is 1 407 wdw-play.... but I'm not 100% sure as the BC Concierge booked it for me.

A question about this E-Night - right now it is till 10pm.. do the hours ever get extended.. like till midnight?

Also.. the last E night of the month is the 22nd... do they ever add more e nights with little notice?

my 2 cents....
I love E-night! I have been to over 10 e-nights, and always have so much fun!
I have also been on the breathless illuminations cruise, and well, I do not plan on doing that again....
we thought it was going to be romantic.. not quite... forget the fact that there was another boat filled with 10 -12 people right next to us, that wasnt too bad, , the thing that got me was that I was literally covered in soot (dust and dirt from the fireworks) by the time it was over!
I could barely see illuminations through all the tons of thick smoke between (or on us) and the fireworks/lasers....

I made the mistake of wearing khaki shorts adn a white tank top, thatnk goodness we didnt have planbs for after the cruise, I would have had to go back to the resort to change.

you'll make the right decison, just think about each choice adn how it makes you feel! pick the choice that gives you the warm fuzzies!!!

Personally I never saw what the big deal was about Illuminations cruises anyway. E-night is more entertainment hours for your money. We'll be at the last e-night, just look for two middle-aged parents sitting on the bench outside BTMRR watching their three kids ride over and over and over and over.

Hello fellow cruiser, 8/28 that is. Go with the Illuminations cruise. It is something different. You can Ride BTMRR ALL day.
