We are a family of two (plus one due in Dec
) and are trying our hardest to stick to a budget and start saving instead of spending! However, we eat out a lot mainly because I am always trying to figure out something to cook with what is in my pantry/fridge, get frustrated and give up. I figure, cut out the eating out and gain a lot of positives in return and I came across someone talking about this site... has anyone used it and if you have, what are your thoughts on it? Are the recipes good / easy, are they prices listed spot on or way off?
Thanks!

ping list is prepared
I think the meals are easy and work very well with my busy evenings. I use the Kroger plan and it is usually on the money. I've been using it almost two years now and have only needed to change my list in the grocery store a few times. Those times were always based on the fact that the price for meat was for a large package instead of the pound or two that I needed according to emealz. If it is a good price you could buy it and throw the rest in the freezer. Sometimes you have to do a little detective work in your store. I thought I knew my store really well, but then discovered items that I had not seen or had no idea that they would be in that area.If it is listed on the shopping list, then that item at that price is there, you may just have to look for it a little bit. For example, refrigerated cheese tortellini. At my store, the "brand name" version is kept in the refrigerated department over near the cheeses and yogurt. But the Kroger brand version is on the other side of the store near the deli. If I shop the first day that the plan is scheduled for, the meats/fish are not always out there yet. The guys at the meat counter are used to me showing them my lists.
