It appears that my e-mail and my DW's e-mail accounts have been compromised in some way. I have been getting notices that e-mails are being sent from my account with spam links, started a little over a day ago and appears to be related to FaceBook based on who has been getting the messages.
It seems that my e-mail provider has locked the account waiting for me to change my password (working on that), so I hope to have the problem cut short soon.
However, should I change my user control panel settings to a new account from say Yahoo Mail or GMail or something? Or would the damage have already been done if people on the DIS are getting spam from my e-mail address?
Not familiar with this, or if DIS'ers are getting spam from me, but wanted to do my part to "stop the madness".
