e-mail "loops" ?

Just curious if any DIS'ers have formed any "loops" as I know to call them? I am on a couple from back in my pregnancy days with each kid The one group of us "April 2000" Mom's meet up once, if not twice a year and have a blast! Anyway, it just got me thinking and wondering. I was on a new thread that started recently, hoping it would last. Today I noticed it was locked Oops. I am not sure what happened. Right before I left for work, it was fine.

I used to have a group of friends that had met on a forum and we formed a yahoo group, but over the years it finally died off. I did meet one of them in person.

We lost a few on our loop over the years. Now we are down to the core group and it is great. Hmm the thread title is slipping my mind right now. Maybe something like "do you ever feel like". It just got me thinking about people saying there are clique threads on the DIS and I wondered if anyone ever ends up taking the groups to emails

Yes I am! We started our email group about 7 years ago. We've lost a few people over the years - we're down to 8 women. But I love them all dearly. I've met several of them in person, one even lives about 25 minutes away. She and her husband have become really close friends of mine and my moms!

Very cool! Are they DIS people? I am so thankful for my internet/loop buddies. They are some of my bestest friends Our girls trips have been in Orlando for the past 3 years. While we never go to the parks, we have a blast at Downtown Disney and City Walk.
