E-mail discounts?

Hi everyone. I'm going in January and obviously there have been no discount codes so far. I've gotten a couple of e-mails with discounts, but not for when I wanted to go.

I went ahead and made a res. at POR, since that is in my price range without a discount. However, I'm still hoping for a discount on a deluxe. *Do you think having a reservation in the system will mean I won't get any e-mail offers?*

I've stayed at the Swan before, but the Entertainment discount isn't available for all the nights I want to be there, so that is out. What to do?

I don't know for sure but I always get emails for Disney about everything and the emails that went out for aug 24- oct1 (I think it was) I made a ressie for those dates earlier in the week and didn't recieve and email. I even set up a new account to see if I would recieve an email and din't recieve anything. I can't change time but I'm willing to bet if I didn't have that ressie I would have gotten and email.

how do you sign up for those e-mails? i'm registered at disney.com but haven't gotten anything since i registered! even though i'm holding out for ap codes for my summer trip, i wouldn't mind getting discount e-mails too...
