My DH got a wonderfu package from Becky (momsals DDIL)
He got a really neat Emergency Pez (he is carrying it around in his pocket like a kid
eclipse breath strips
2 1st edition collector cars

He was so happy. Thank you.


All 5 of our package were sent this morning

There is a package sitting here for my DS but he isn't home yet I tried to peek but my dh said NO

Carol wanted to keep the socks but I wouldn't let her. She already has a pair just like them.

Glad it arrived. I'm thinking of buying some of that Swiss Miss Mix for myself and giving it a try.

I'm leaving soon too!! and really wanted these all mailed before then.

Today is mail-by day!!
Still have 6 adults and 4 children that haven't reported mailing.

I will hand the nonmailers over to Liz tomorrow.....and she will yell at ya all while I'm away

Just kidding.....but in all seriousness, I really need to stress the impotance of getting this stuff out on time. I am the first to understand that Life Happens!!! Mine seems to be going through some really weird twists and turns presently. But it seems we have many habitual late senders and some new non senders. That my friends is not cool. (If I am not "talking" to you, you may quit reading as this is not aimed at you, but if this hits a nerve, please continue to read.) Not only are kids getting stuff late, which is wwwwaaaayyyyy not cool, but so are adults. You know this happens every other week. You know the letter wwwaaaayyyy in advance, and you know the mail by date and your recipient a week out. If you can not commit to being on time, something is going to need to be done. I really don't want to get mean or nasty about this. I need everyone to be timely on these exchanges. If life gets in the way every once in a while, that is understood.....if it happens habitually, you may be asked to no longer participate. I really do want this to be fun for everyone, really I do. I think all of the organizers wish this to be a fun experiance for everybody. But when people have to wait well after the send by date to get packages, and we as organizers have to hound people, the fun is gone...for more than just a few people. Remember, this is supposed to be fun for everybody. With that being said, please understand my main goal is to have fun!!!! It takes everybody to make this thing work, so please have fun and get you packages out in a timely manner. If at any point you should not be able to get your package out on time, please contact the organizer. They will be more than happy to help with your situation and also be able to help make this fun for everybody!! These have been going so great and I do want to thank everybody for all the fun I have had and is yet to come!!!!! Now, who is gonna sign up for "F"?

But when we got back from vacation and I got my name...I saw I had someone "across the pond". That ment some of my gifts were not practical...so back to the store I had to go !!! I did, however, pay extra to get it there quicker.

If you need an extra package for someone who doesn't get theirs...let me know. I have enough stuff to send out another one!!
