E:E testing has begun

I was there mid-November and tried *really* hard to be a test-dummy, to no avail. I chatted with several CMs, though, one of them an important-looking fellow in a hard hat (attracted by my sequined ears!) They were talking about a soft opening and/or special previews (for AP or DVC folks) in late Jan/early Feb.

We will be there Feb 12-17, so I will be keeping my fingers crossed.

Also, Dec 11th, but I'm not holding my breath for that one.

We will be there 1/28 - 2/1 but are not holding our breaths either. Wishful thinking, yes! But not expecting it.

Any more info on this????

I would love to know when they are going to test to ANYONE from the public....

When we walked by E:E on Thursday, December 15, they were running coasters. I stopped to try and get a picture and guess what, there were lots of people on it!!!! They were going up what looks like the main hill and were waving and stuff. It was definitely not engineers on the ride.

At the entrance to the ride area the construction wall was only about waste high and there were some CMs stationed there. It looked like they were giving out information on the ride, but not allowing people to ride it. We got a good look at the standby entrance and the Fast Pass Distribution center. There was still scaffolding and construction stuff up at points in the area.

I think the people that were on the ride may have been actors. I saw a few camera crew people walking around taking video from different vantage points. The way the people were in the car, it was a few rows of people, a few empty rows, and then a few more of people. It didnt' look like they were letting passerby's on.
