E-Bates 7% rebate from Disneystore.com

I noticed that e-bates is offering 7% back from the Disneystore.com. Does anyone know if this works with gift cards? I was thinking about buying some gift cards to pay the balance on my cruise.

Unfortunately gift cards are not eligible for cashback.

as long as you add an additional item to your cart, the whole order should qualify for cash back through e-bates... or at least it did for me last time.

Anyone confirm that if you purchase another item with a gift card then you do get the cashback from e-bates? also can anyone confirm the reputation of e-bates? I have never used it but would like to purchase a few sizable gift certificates in addition to my christmas purcahses in order to pay off a trip for next year!

I cant confirm anything about the gift card question but I can tell you that I have used ebates in the past and love them! Last christmas I ended up getting $35 back on shopping that I was going to do anyways. Its nice because the websites still allow you to use the promotions and everything and then to get an additional percentage back in cash is even nicer!

No, it doesn't work with an additional item - at least that was my experience about a month ago. They had double cash back that day so I ordered several gift cards for our upcoming trip as well as pjs for my nieces. The only exclusion listed on ebates for the Disney Store was passes, I believe. I even questioned it when the amount credited to my account wasn't correct. They said that elsewhere on the ebates site states that unless it is in the gift card section, then it doesn't qualify. I even showed them the exclusion and they wouldn't budge. I love ebates and I will continue to use them to save money, but I told them that I was disappointed that the exclusion wasn't more prominent. I've earned back/saved over $100 in the last 3 months!
