Dyson vacuum's worth the money?

We have a Dyson! (Not sure of the model...but it's yellow...) Our Walmart doesn't (or didn't?) carry Dysons but got some in somehow, and they were marked down from $400 to $150. I think it picks up a lot more than our previous vacuum did. We'd never have bought it, though, if not for the deal on it.

I have a Dyson and I HATE IT!!! I could out suck it with a straw! It just scatters the debris.. Did I mention that I HATE IT! I want my Amway Clear Trak back!

Well after I posted on here about looking for vaccuum cleaner's, I decided to really look at all my options.

I went to quite a few stores. As far as the DYSON goes; way toooooo heavy.

I ended up with the ORECK XL!!! Love love love it!!!

I have three floors all carpeted, the Oreck is sooo light weight. I actually enjoy vacuuming.
