Dyson Vaccums

I do have a Linen's & Things nearby and I have a coupon, I didn't even think to try there. Thanks!!

I tried but they wouldn't let me, they said that in the "fine print" it specifically states that the discount does not include Dyson products. I guess I will wait for a coupon from BB&B that doesn't state Dyson products, I have seen a few throughout the year.

Was that a cashier or a manager? Even though the fine print says that they still should have taken it. When I questioned my manager I was told that it did not matter and that we were to give the customer the discount anyway.

1)... if you do a search on here for Dyson, you'll find so many more of us who love our vacuums.
2)... LNT states right on their coupon, at least here, that Dyson is excluded from the 20%.

I bought mine during the free tax day last August, so at least I saved some money.. :woohoo:

not all LNT coupons exclude Dyson....The one I used when I bought mine did not excluded it...I double and triple checked before I went to the store. I also got one in the mail today that did not exclude Dyson either. If anyone needs a 20% off coupon for LNT, pm me...I have several lying around that I could send you.

I"m gettting one for our new house...

Any recs for a model? We have a hairy cat and dog, but have lots of stairs?

It's been a few weeks with my Dyson and it is just the most amazing vacuum I ever had.

And we got ours on sale and with a coupon, so they can be really affordable. We got the one with the ball. It is the easiest vacuum I ever had to maneuver. All the tools are easy to use. Emptying it out is as easy as 1,2,3.

And it is by far the most superior in it's actual task-- vacuuming. It goes deep and really cleans the carpet.

I can't say enough good things about this vacuum.

 This may seem like a dumb question but if the suction is so strong wouldn't that be bad for the carpet in the long run?

I would love a dyson! We have a lab and 4 cats! :goodvibes

I've been wondering the exact same thing.

I have a Hoover Wind Tunnel now and have been looking into a Dyson. The Wind Tunnel picks up a LOT of stuff however the filter keeps getting clogged and I lose suction rapidly. I have to empty the canister or at least shake the stuff loose from the filter about once every room. Its a pain.

I've been vacumning our wool area rug (Pottery Barn) and not only does it pick up dust and dog hair, but a LOT of carpet fiber. Has anyone experienced this? Is this normal carpet wear? Will a Dyson be too hard on it?

I love my Dyson, too, except for one thing. The things can be expensive to fix!!! My dog chewed the electrical cord in half, and when I called the repair people they said it would cost anywhere from $50 to $80 to fix the cord. Apparently the model I chose is harder to fix.

Now it's broken again. The motor that turns the beater bar has stopped working. I'm afraid to take it to the repairman, because it'll probably cost a bundle to fix!

FreshTressa I have used my sister's on her stairs. The hose is long enough to reach all the way to the top stair without ever tipping the vacuum over.
