I am sure this has been asked before but I can't seem to find it.

We are considering the deluxe dining plan.

1. I believe that means we all get mugs. There are 3 adults in our party.
I don't really drink sodas.
Can I give my mug away?
I just hate wasting it. No biggie if not allowed. Just thought it would be nice.

2. We may have 1 TS Credit left. We are eating at almost all 2TS places. Including CG brunch. But still may have 1 left. And probably a few snack credits.
Can we "buy" another tables food at a restaurant? Like a surprise.

I think you can still convert your TS to a couple of snack credits, and then take your snack credits and get lollipops/snacks at the confectionary in MK. you can fill up the mug with coffee or tea or even water, or when you get home someone may like it too.

You don't actually convert them to snack credits and then go use them. You gather you snack items at ONE place, and then ask to use a TS or QS credit to pay for them. You probably should ask the cashier CM before you gather your items if it is doable wherever you are.

With your refillable mug you don't have to just get soda. There are also options for brewed iced tea, coffee, hot chocolate, lemonade, Powerade- and some resorts have converted to Coke Freestyle machines where the options are endless- including flavored waters.

I unfortunately don't know the answer to your questions, but WOW, what a nice gesture!!! You are so thoughtful! The person in front of me in the Starbucks's drive thru paid for my order one time and it made my week! Restored my faith in humanity

Others have noted the coffee/tea option. It also makes for a souvenir even if you don't use it at all at the resort. I think the letter (and spirit) of the DDP rules would say you can't give the mug to someone else to use, but I can't see any practical way for them to enforce that as long as you're not doing it right in front a cast member.

It seems to be a given that you can use plan credits to purchase meals for people not on your plan now. I'd think you should be able to do this, but you may find certain locations might not allow it.
