So my DH wants to upgrade to the DXDP for our trip in Sept. It will just be us, I will be 7months pregnant at the time, & our DD who will be 2. He is not someone who would want to eat breakfast in our room & says he would enjoy all the extra food.
I'm looking for any feedback from others who have done the DXDP w/ young toddlers and what their experiences were like.

I just got back from disney last week. We got the Deluxe plan for me, wife, 3 boys, and did not have to get it for my toddler (20 months). It was a great, we ordered food and even stuff for the toddler (when asked the people at the rest. said it would just run out sooner). THe only thing we ended up paying for was tips. The kids were great at all the places we ate. We hit up yatchmans, chef mickey, boatrights, 50's, hoop-de-doo, royal table, ect.... We even did not use all of our credits, but did end up in positive on how much it would have cost us. It is nice to go and not worry about what you want. I tried things that I usually would not order because I knew that if I did not like it I would not be out the money.

Did you find it was a lot of sitting at meals for your toddler?

I have sat down & calculated the costs of the extra table services we would be going to and have decided that right now it is not worth it for our family, but thank you again for your response. It will be cheaper to just pay OOP for hte extras we want to visit.

2 adults & 9yr old going in Dec. thinking about updating to Deluxe dinning Am I understanding you can use TS 3 times a day for ea day if this is what you want or is TS limited to 1 for ea night you are there Have used reg. dinning plan several times. Thanks

We have the DXDP for our trip in June. You can use 3 TS each day or any combination of TS and CS, it's 3 credits for each night of your stay. We are using it for several signature dinners (2 credits) and doing a late character breakfasts on those days. We have me, DH, DD(7), and DS(1) , we thought the DXDP would be best so we can all share our food with DS. That and my DH only goes to Disney for the food:rotfl2:
