Would you get the Deluxe plan? I have ADR's for breakfast and late dinners already. I have crunched the numbers and we are within $245 of the break even point. I have not factored in any snacks or lunches. Our 5 year old will have to have a lunch because dinner will not be until at least 7 most nights and breakfast will be between 7:10 and 8:30 most days. I'm sure that my husband and I both will have to have something light to hold us over. Lunch would be CS. I also need to figure out what we are going to do for dinner the night of HNSSHP. Right now I have a 2:00 lunch scheduled at the WAVE

If you do the ts anyway then yes, it is so easy and we had great service on dxdp.

Only a problem if you have a problem- illness, but it is great since you can use credits for cs so little one could have cs meal and leave her in kids club while you enjoy a sig.

Also since all credits are pooled you not not have to worry if they ring everything up right- you just eat and eat-

make sure you plan for tips which can really add up- I just stocked on gcs before and crsdited them to my room so we did not have a big bill at the end.

The breaking factor for me was the idea that we would not order an appetizer at all of our dinner. We wanted to try some signature restaurants this time around, but I crunched numbers based on what we would actually eat and it was less than the cost of the DxDDP.

I would say that if your within $245 without factoring in snacks or the refillable mug, I would say "go for it." With the DxDP, you can try a range of appetizers that you might not order if paying OOP. I would order your appetizer allotment at the Sigs because those appetizers are often really good. Snacks can add up pretty quickly, so that will help. As long as you are going to eat lots of TS meals, then you'll probably be fine.

We love the DxDP, but for us it's less about saving money and more about treating ourselves. If we were paying OOP we'd likely not have dessert or appetizers, and we probably wouldn't even treat ourselves to many signatures. By prepaying for DxDP we give ourselves permission to get whatever we want at our meals and splurge a bit. Our thinking is that it's our vacation too and some nice meals really make us feel like we're relaxing. We do a lot of character breakfasts for DD, and we don't care for CS most of the time, so for our family it's the best option.

I didn't price what we might order before we went last trip, but I did keep all of the receipts from what we did eat. We saved $800 using DxDP.

Thank you for this reply!! I was hoping that someone else felt this way too. :) My mom and I are taking my dd and niece this month and all of us are adults. We decided to splurge on the DxDP and hope that it's the best choice. In the end, I'm excited to treat my mom and I to more TS than we ever would do, as well as snacking a LOT. lol :thumbsup2
