Good morning!
I'm struggling to decide between buying DxDDP or a TIW for my next trip in August. Originally, I was planning for the DxDDP, but then I booked another trip for December and then felt like maybe I'd come out better in the long run using TIW. DxDDP for 7 nights just seems like a lot.
The August trip is just for me and my boyfriend. We both typically drink water. I may occasionally order a cocktail or a class of wine. He's not a drinker. We like the idea of being able to order appetizers, but realistically - we'd probably only order one to split. Two seems like a lot. We both have a sweet tooth, so we would probably order dessert at dinner. Last trip we used almost all of our snack credits on bottles of water (not the best use I know), and we had a bunch of QS credits left over that we had to convert at the end of the trip into snacks and we just bought stuff to bring home.
I ran the numbers of the Disney Dining Plan Calculator, and I realize that the DxDDP would save us money over paying OOP. However, not sure how that really factors in with TIW savings.
Thoughts?
Here are my ADRs for the August trip:
Day 1:
Skipper's Canteen (Lunch)
'Ohana (Dinner)
Day 2:
San Angel Inn (Lunch)
1900 Park Fare (Dinner)
Day 3:
Garden Grill (Breakfast)
Hoop-Dee-Doo Review Cat. 2 (Dinner)
Day 4:
Trattoria al Forno (Breakfast)
Tiffins (Dinner - River's of Light Package)
Day 5:
'Ohana (Breakfast)
CRT (Dinner)
Day 6:
California Grill (Brunch)
Via Napoli (Dinner)
Day 7:
Crystal Palace (Breakfast)
Be Our Guest (Dinner)
Day 8:
