DxDDP questions

Hi

I've searched but can't quite find the answer to my questions.

We are staying at POP in October and are hoping for free dining. I know the QSDP is offered for value resorts but I don't think that will be enough credits for us. I do not want to pay oop for any food once we are there so can we upgrade to the DxDDP and pay the difference?

I've tried to run the numbers and I'm coming out to an extra $600 for 2 adults and 1 child for 4 nights. Does that sound right?

In the past it has been possible to pay the difference and upgrade to whichever dining plan works best for you.
Looks like you figured it out correctly, $592.48.

We updated to Dx in February - I don't remember the numbers but it was the difference between quick and deluxe and we loved it!

So when I call to do the FD do I just ask to upgrade and pay the difference at that point?

This is the first trip that I have planned personally so I'm trying to get it all figured out.

Yes . Your reservation will reflect the extra cost, but you won't have to pay the difference at that time, unless you are 45 days or less from arrival.
