Just a couple of questions about the deluxe dining plan

1 how do they know which plan you are on?
2 how do you get the mug do you get a voucher to hand over or just go and ask for it?

The room keys indicate deluxe dining plan.

No vouchers for the mug. You just go to any place at your resort that sells them. Select your mugs and head to the register. Tell the CM that you're buying them/picking them up as part of the deluxe plan. The entitlement will be subtracted from your plan. Very simple.
