DxDDP Questions (DVC Renter)

So I believe we'll be doing the Dining Plan for the first time while also renting at DVC for the first time so please bear with me and my questions.

1) Since we are DVC Renters we have to add the DDP plan ahead of time and pay it in full when we check in is that right?

2) DxDDP for 2011 is $78.95 per person including tax and everything but tips and alcohol right?

3) We are staying Saturday - Saturday so 7 nights which means we get 21 meal credits and 14 snack credits per person correct?

4) If we check in early on the day of arrival say 12:00 or so as soon as we get the room cards we are ok to use the credits for lunch right? Even if the room isnt ready?

4) Can someone give me some ideas on what the snack credits can be used for that disney hasn't listed? Can it be used on something like school bread in Norway?

We are skipping breakfast most of the week so we can do signature dining for dinners. Really looking forward to eating at a lot of nice restaurants with some awesome food

You can use the dining card as soon as you check in regardless of whether or not your room is ready.

As of last year, DVC dining plans now have to be paid for at the time they are added.
