DXDDP problems getting 2 snack coupons

Most people know you can sub a Table service entitilment for a CS and a coupon for 2 snacks or a mesh bag on the DDP or DXDDP except for most of the CMs I delt with at disney. I ate 3 CS last week and tried everytime to get the coupons. I was on the DXDDP. I would argue witht he CM for like 15 mintues and then they would just give them to me. If you have this problem direct them to the cast portal and look for recent advisories and they should be able to find it. The coupon were only good till the 27th of sept so I'm not sure if the promotion is very much longer.. Anyone else have this problem?

the few times we did counter service, the girl at the register at POR actually told me that she was ringing up my salad drink and cookie and my DH's soup & drink separately since soup and drink were actually a snack credit each, but she had to ring up my meal, note on it that she gave me a coupon then could use that coupon to pay for his items.

Looks like some CMs just weren't trained on it. We were there the 11th-15th.

The POFQ did not have the bag but we found it at the Contemporary. It's nothing special (very tiny) but dd loves it for all her stuff. We did not have to use any of our DP credits - just the coupon. You get one coupon per family.

YES! we had the same problem. The main Street Bakery said that they knew nothing about it, and then when we tried at the concierge at the hotel they said that this offer was not good with the deluxe plan, only thr regular dining plan.

The problem would be because on the DxDDP, you are given 3 meal credits per night of your stay, rather than a CS credit and a TS credit. You can use your credits for either TS or CS meals.

So if you had chosen to eat at 3 CS meals during your stay on the DxDDP, you aren't entitled to the coupons for 2 snacks or a bag since that plan doesn't distinguish between CS and TS, each is just a "meal."

If the OP argued with the cashiers for 15 minutes each time they ordered a CS meal while on the DxDDP, they were in the wrong. The DxDDP is designed to allow you to eat 3 sit down meals a day if you want, or a CS and 2 sit downs, or 3 CS, or any mix you want. You are not supposed to be able to get any additional perks if you choose to use it on CS. At least that's what I have read.

We got the coupon when we used our Deluxe DP the first time at our resort. So did the people behind us who were also on the Deluxe plan.

No the DXDDP during this special promotion is included. We did have one problem at Columbia Harbour House but they just had to get the manager and she said yes we did get the coupons and they brought them over. I think the cashiers just haven't been trained. They didn't even have them at the registers they had to ask for them to be brought out.
