DXDDP For one night?

We're going down in October. We wanted all 7 nights at AKLV but were unable to get the first night. Our first night will be at SSR followed by 6 nights at AKLV. Can we add the DXDDP to just the first night because it is a separate resort?

Yes! We did just that in August and it worked out perfectly. The Deluxe plan has more than enough food to stretch the credits into 2 days.

That's what I'm thinking! We have lunch on Sunday and Dinner on Monday booked. Dinner Sunday will be courtesy of people future DH used to babysit for and I'm thinking about a lunch or breakfast for Monday morning!

Just one word of caution about doing this: make sure you use the DxDDP credits by midnight of your check-out day! Many people think that because they have split stay that they will just buy a dining plan for part and spread the credits out over the entire stay, but Disney thought of that first and does not allow it. Even if you are on the same type dining plan for both parts of a split stay, all credits for the first part of the stay expire at midnight of check-out for the first stay.

It sounds like you may be within this parameter with the dinner/brunch combo, but I just felt it was important to clarify this limitation.
