DXDDP - Adult using child's credit?

I've made my ADR's. Four of us. An 11-year-old and a 4-year-old.

10 Days - 90 Adult Credits/30 Child Credits

Due to a couple of meals the kids are having at the Kid's Clubs, and the reservations we've made... We are not exactly at those numbers - there may be a little OOP.

We would currently use 92 Adult/29 Child - All Table Service.

Could my 11-year-old use that extra Child Credit? Maybe order from the Child's menu?

I'm sure with all those ****SNACKS!!!!**** we'll be able to split one meal somewhere if needed!

Too bad 3 SCs couldn't be subbed for one QS or TS!

If you are on the deluxe plan, the credits are all pooled. There are no children's credits, but just to be clear, you have 3 credits per person per night, not per day. However, you will not have an issue using the credits for whoever you want.

Just to add, if you need to pay anything OOP you will not have a problem paying for a few inexpensive kids meals and using those credits for adults at other meals.

Great info. Thanks. I posted a question about this on another thread but got no responses.

Using DxDDp and hoping to get as many signatures ADR as possible. Paying OOP for kids meals is what I'm planning because using 2TS credits for chicken nuggets/Mac n cheese is a poor use of credits. Thanks again!

Yep, we did exactly this last trip. Paid OOP $7.99 or however much for kiddo's nuggets, and used his credits for $40 buffets for the grownups.

Thanks, I never thought of that either, we have one extra table meal on the deluxe plan and I was going to pay for the meal oop, but I know our 10 will want chicken nuggets at least twice in our 15 days there, so I will pay them out of pocket and save the tables until the end. And if we ever end up with more, I find a veteran and pay for his/her meal.

Love the part about the veteran. I'm currently mapping out my trip in Dec. and it looks like if I stick to this plan I will have a couple of TS credits leftover on our DxDDP. I'm going to do exactly what you suggested.
