Dx DDP with a 3 year old

Well we always loved doing the DxDDP while DD was under 3. Now that shes 3, it would be crazy to think that she will eat an appetizer, dinner, and dessert at every restaurant we go to. She would barely eat a children's appetizer let alone 3 courses! Anyways, while doing some more research, I see on these boards that all credits are pooled for DxDDP ( I think that's what im reading, I could be wrong). Anyways, if me, Dh, and DD were to get the DxDDP for a one night hotel stay, that means there are "9" TS credits total. Technically, can me and DH use them for 2 signature dinners over the 2 nights (8 credits) and paying OOP for her at these restaurants? we will have one credit left over from the 9 obviously but is this something that can even be done??

pretty sure you can only get one night of ddp with dvc... otherwise the minimum stay is 2 nights

we are dvc! and is this a confirmed "thing"? So even though I have 2 adults and 1 child on DxDDP, I can use those 9 total credits however Id like? Im pretty stoked if this is the case!!!

sorry to be so annoying!! I am just making sure that if we do this, it will in fact work the way I plan! So for our one night stay, DH, me, and DD (3) or child paying one night for dxddp.

That means a total of 9 TS credits that can be used interchangeably, however we want- no difference between child and adult even thought we paid for dd3 as a child.

On the day we check in, DH, me, and DD3 can go to Le Cellier- we can use a total of 4 TS credits and pay OOP for DD3.
The next day, DH, me, and DD3 can go to Flying Fish and use a total of 4 TS credits and pay OOP for DD3.
That's a total of 8 adult credits used by me and DH and none for DD3.
I know there are 9 credits for the one night but I would possibly just use this for another restaurant for DH or me and pay OOP again for DH or me and DD3.

Is this definitely possible?? Am I understanding this correctly?

Yes this is possible. All credits on the DxDDP are pooled together. Just tell the waiter that you are paying for your daughter, not using the dining plan for her, we have done it many times. You can use the credits from the day you check in until midnight the day you check out.
