DWTS, who is voting for Bristol?

I don't understand how she is still in the running, but I would like to hear others opinions. I give all my votes to Kyle, DD likes him. I know he won't make it all the way, but hopefully, final four.

I have not voted for her for several weeks now. The first 2 or 3 weeks I gave her a couple, just because I thought she did better then a couple other dancers and felt that she deserved to be there longer then them.

At this point though, she's gone further than her skills and performace level should have taken her. People are now voting for her because - they like Mark or because of who she is family wise or people just want an "underdog" to go farther than some of the better dancers go.

I'm with the OP - Bristol HAS improved a lot since the first week, but she's gotten a lot farther than she should have. I also give most of my votes to Kyle and Lacey - I think he's great and is doing a fantastic job. I know Kyle won't win - Brandy will win, with Jennifer in 2nd. They both have dance experience.

I saw a post on an internet board, her mother's supporters are rallying votes for her. It will be interesting if she wins because of it.

Her dancing reminds me of those trees on The Wizard of Oz. The ones that throw apples. She's like a dancing tree trunk in a ballgown. Not as bad a Kate was, though....

Voting for Bristol and will continue to. She's a kid whose been through way too much from MANY different areas, she deserves a chance, she is working hard and is learning, and is better than many on the show. Really glad to see that sweaty dude leave last night.....................

I don't understand voting on a show about dancing for someone that has "been through so much". She seems like a perfectly nice girl, but that doesn't make her a better dancer. I think you could pick just about any of the contestants and talk about hard times they have been through -- many as a result of their own choices and decisions.

That said, I don't really have a favorite this year, but I think Bristol is pretty wooden.

Just curious, who do you think she is better than? I agree she is improved, but she is not better than anyone at this point.

Well then just my mother? How many votes does one person get anyway?

It changes every week, going down by 1 vote. I believe this week it was 6 votes.

But that is six votes per phone line. We have 4 cell phones and 1 landline. So that is 30 call in votes as a house hold can make. And since I have the major watcher, I get the most say in the votes. If DD watches and she wants to vote, she gets to do so on her phone. If she does watch or wants to vote, I get them. Same goes with DH's and DS's phones. The land line is all mine.

All of us have accounts on ABC.com. I have more than 1 e-mail address and each one of those e-mails accounts has an account on ABC.com. Each one of those get 6 votes on-line. So, there is another 42 votes our household gets to cast.

Now, do I do all of the on-line voting, no not every week, but most weeks yes I do.

Next week we should have 5 votes.

Bristol is horrible. What has she been thru that she deserves votes? She had a baby? Thats not a traumatic experience, its a situation she got herself in. And technically, its dancing with the stars...she is NOT a star! She shouldn't even be on the show to begin with. I agree, I think its the people who vote for American Idol bad singers...let the worst person win.

Agree. Getting pregnant as a teen is not inspiring in any way.
