DW took this today. Or should I say these. She cropped Fred (left) and Q (right) from one photo and placed them in the tree photo. Then added all the spikes on the furry white parts of the hats and completly redid the ball on fred's hat because it was actualy half off the frame. Very nice job considering it is her first time using Photoshop.

Q is 2.5 years old and very smart. She knows how to hit the button to roll down the windows in my truck and can answer which type of "out" she wants. Like "Find a spot" or "walk" or "puppy park" or "chase squirrels". But it is always a good time to chase squirrels.
Fred is a year old and tries his best. It is hard to think for yourself when you have such a good leader. So we seperte them sometimes to let him be in charge of his decisions.

Hope you liked the pic, post your pet holiday photo if you have one! any holiday.

Xlnt cropping, and the eyes are in focus, exactly what you want. Good composition. I would suggest have your DW try using levels (Enhance | Adjust Lighting | Levels). Have her move the little left arrow under the graph to the right a little and the one on the right to the left a little. They should be just under the beginning of the upward curves.

Once done there (and you should see a significant increase in color) then have her adjust the contast (Enahance | Adjust Lighting | Brightness/Contast). Move the contrast arrow to the right to about +9.

See if you like that better. Play with the settings. It will help. These are really rough adjustments that help many pictures look really nice, but of course, it helps to start with a nice picture like this one.

Good luck!

Ya I noticed it was a little bright and slightly washed out as well. She was editing it in the middle of the day in the living room. Not the best time.

I'm just glad she feel well enough to be doing PS things.

I think they look great for just trying it out.
