DVR day

Today is the first "do nothing day" DH and I have had in a long time. I am still in my p.j.s, DH only got dressed to take the dogs out. We have been watching things on the DVR all day. So far we have watched one Mad Men, one Breaking Bad, and six Rescue Me episodes.

We have both been so busy we got behind on some shows.

So far it has been a perfect day.

I love DVR days! I had one myself, as we travelled yesterday and got home at 2am. We were all tired, so we had a pj day. I caught up on my favorite shows including Survivor, Top Chef and The Next Iron Chef.

We love DVR days! We haven't had enough of them recently. We've got a boatload of programs waiting for us on the DVR: Three Rivers (6 episodes), Private Practice (4), Brothers and Sisters (5), Vampire Diaries (4), Trauma (5), The Forgotten (4), Ghost Whisperer (6), and Criminal Minds (13).

I did that Saturday morning when I couldn't sleep. 4 episodes of Desperate Housewives, 2 Private Practices, and 1 Brothers and Sisters. Now all that is left is 5 Greys Anatomy.

Yes , we are in dvr panic mode here! Only 18% left to record and I don't even want to say how many hours our dvr keeps!

only kidding (about the panic part, we ARE tv bugs), much better to have a real life

My daughter is a high school junior, taking 3 AP classes, on drill team and in the HS musical. She has no time to sleep, much less watch TV. They get a whole week off for Thanksgiving and that is what she's doing - catching up on essential the whole seasons of Heroes, So You Think You Can Dance, America's Top Modeal and Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders: Making the Team. I haven't been able to delete much of anything, so I think we're 88% full!
