We had bought the Disney's Sing Along Songs -disneyland fun, a few years
ago, and we really enjoy watching it. The kids say they feel like they are in disneyland, singing with the characters !!!!:goodvibes

Of course, this was recorded probably in the 80's, and it has the old
strollers, and I enjoy seeing the old hairstyles and clothing !!!! ha ha........

Does anyone know if there are any newer videos/DVD's out there about
WDW, that I can buy ?:confused3
We have the beach party at WDW, also.
I would just love to have some newer DVD's that we can watch in anticipation of our next WDW trip !!!!!:cool1:

There is a DVD called the Magic Kingdom, then there is also a boxed set with a dvd for each of the Parks. These are only a few years old. We purchased these on one of our trips several years ago. I dont know if they are still avbailable you could call Disney Merchandise and ask. I think it was about $80 for the set.

I found the Magic kingdom on a web-site.
What kind of movie is it ?
Is it a tour through the park (like someone is guiding you), is there music,
or is it a type of planning DVD ?
I think it was about 30-some dollars, just for the magic kingdom DVD.
The whole set was about 114.00, plus shipping of course.
And, how long is the DVD for the magic kingdom ?
Thanks !:thumbsup2

Don't forget about the planning DVD..those are fun and free, and you can check out the various resorts too. Also, if you have a Tivo or DVR,etc. you can record the Disney shows on the Travel Channel, and sometimes even the Food Network. There are several Disney sing-a-longs, but Disneyland Fun may be the only one in the park ....there is a Halloween sing-a-long thatmay have the Haunted Mansion, but I think that's it.

:confused3 I'm really surprised they haven't made more
like the Disneyland Fun :confused3
I really like watching that one with the kids !!!:goodvibes
I really want to know what the Disney's Magic kingdom DVD's
are like, anyone else know ?:confused3

There are two additional Sing Along Songs DVD that feature WDW locales. The first is the Animal Kingdom video, hosted by Flik. The second is some kind of Campout video at the Campground at Fort Wilderness. I can't say much about the second one as we don't own it (we're kind of indoor people - not that you need to be outdoorsy for the video, but you know what I mean). The Animal Kingdom video is really cute. Shows the Tree of Life, the Safari Ride, the train ride to Conservation Station. My DD2 really enjoys it. She sings along with the songs and everything.

I also have the Beach Party and Disneyland Sing Along Songs videos...these are great for introducing a small child to Disney before they go. We have only a month to go and my little one is already talking about it at night before bed. Can't wait!

As another poster said, the free vacation planning videos are good, but if your child is young, s/he won't have the attention span for that. I would probably say the same thing about the DVDs on the parks. They are definitely geared toward an older audience. Good luck in your planning!
