DVD and Videos - $10 again

Hi All,

I don't post much but probably read everything written here.

Anyway, the wife and I just returned from our local Disney store in NY (Thursday evening 10/17 7pm). I was looking at the DVDs while waiting for her and then walked away to look at something else. The Cast Member then came over to me and said she noticed me looking at the DVDs and that she just put the sign up that all DVDs and videos were $10 (except for Monsters and BATB).

I didn't get any because I was able to catch the last sale, but I thought everyone here would like to know.

I did get the new Toy Story snowglobe, which was 25% off (as were most of the snowglobes).

I am merely the messenger here. I know about the last DVD sale and how so many missed out on it. Sorry, but I did not ask how long the sale was going to last.

I called the Roosevelt Field Disney Store and they said that the sale should be on until Sunday, but you just never know!

Allow me to me "Mom" here.
Many of us were disappointed by how quickly Disney pulled the DVD sale last time (me included). And we have learned that Disney makes these decisions on a whim. Hopefully everyone who is interested will get to the TDS in time and get the DVDs that they want. But if you don't, if they are sold out, or the promotion is pulled in an untimely fashion, please don't take out your frustrations on the CMs. They are not those who MAKE the decisions - but they have to abide by them.

I bought about 10 dvd's, I also preordered the L&S DVD, I also used a coupon for the Rolie Polie Olie DVD. I also received the $10 gift card, and used my DVC discount.

I then took the gift card and bough two $2.00 pins and a Disney Music CD and used a $2.00 coupon for the CD and once again the DVC discount, and then used the $10 gift card.

WOW, I did great.

Now, I have to get my proof of purchases, and get another free DVD plus s/h. I can also get something else because I now have the old B & B tape and new DVD.

PLUS.... I got the coupon book for shopping later!

WOW!!!!

Has anyone used coupons ($2 off Rolie Polie DVD) when buying these? I just found out The Rookie has several coupons I would use, but it's a Christmas gift for my kids and I don't want to open it unless I have to.

FYI~
Here in White Marsh, MD they were not accepting the DVC discount. Stink!!
Can anybody tell me what coupons are in certain movies? And have they accepted the coupon on top of the $10 offer? NO DVC Discount but maybe coupons. Who knows.

Bummer! Just got the new B&tB on DVD and was planning on sending in the $5 rebate coupon since I have a copy of the original on VHS... but (wouldn't you know it) the kids had pulled off the proof of purchase tags off the old VHS tape.

Here's he low down on TDS-Houston. The place was a madhouse. I did get 2 dvd's, got 2 tee shirts (2 for $15) and I got a pin. Sign said 50% off but it rang up for $2.00. Lady said I couldnt use my dc card for the video's but I could for the other items.
