DVCSince02 Baby Watch

Is he STILL not here yet?!? Jeesh! Mary and Joseph didn't have this much trouble!

Sorry Jen, I'll send Raul over to get you a moe-jee-toe...oh wait, no, not that...... I'll have him rub your feet, yeah, that'll do it! A hot man rubbing your feet! Oh, wait, that's prolly what got you into this in the first place......:rotfl2:

Sorry, jen's baby's daddy, but Raul is on his way to take care of our girl!

I've been lurking on this thread for a little while but thought I would post with some hopefully comforting words. I have a little brother who's about 14 months, born last July, and he was about a week and a half overdue. My mom got to the point where she was driving 40 minutes to the doctor about everyday to see if there was any progress. She was finally induced nine days after he was due (I REALLY hope you don't have to wait that long!) and the doctors said that once he finally came out it was one of the easiest births (with an epidural) that they had ever done and he was NINE POUNDS FOUR ONCES. So even if Evan is really big, things can still go smoothly, and I'm sure they will. :goodvibes Good luck!

OK, this is becoming one of those chick threads. I just read in a newspaper - perhaps Sundays, that doctors are finding deliveries are used by the use of lubricants (yes that kind). They find the head slips out easier and sometimes with less - ya know, stiches.

Take care Jen (stop at the drugstore on the way).:)

I am so glad I had a C-section now. JK. The whole delivery thing scared the crap out of me. The man upstairs must have known I was a chicken. he he he he.

Good Luck Jen! I'll be pulling for you! I was 2 weeks overdue before they finally induced me!

So sorry Jen. I've been thinking about you. Dh, the baby and I all had the stomach flu the last few days. I finally got some drugs and a shot in the butt today so hopefully that helps. :lmao:

I hate that you are still waiting and so frustrated. I can't even imagine. But I know you are strong and you will have your sweet little Evan in your arms before long and hopefully this will all be a distant memory. I am sending some pixie dust your way! :wizard:

Peanutbutterpeanutbutterpeanutbutter...straight from the jar....

How exciting - ok now we have to wait for news :surfweb:
