DVCSince02 Baby Watch

Tell me about it. My mind hasn't stopped racing since last week. I just lay there and think of everything and anything. From vacation, to baby, kids and school, packing lunch, going to the bank, blah blah blah.

I'm better off coming downstairs and not bothering Chris, since he has to get up in the morning and go to work.

My DH has actually been gone the last few days. My DMIL got really sick while we were in WDW and has been hospitalized for three weeks now. Poor thing went in with a bowel obstruction that turned into a whole domino effect with everything from blood clots to a second surgery due to torn sutures. It has been an emotional roller coaster as she would have a good day, and then several bad days. She appears to have stabilized now and I hope she continues to improve each day. Luckily she lives only three hours away so DH was able to drive up there immediately.

I am so glad she is close enough to drive. I tell ya, when it rains it pours.

((hugs))

"Is it Wednesday yet?" has a whole different meaning on this thread.

Almost there Jen.

Lisa, I hope you MIL is doing well and makes a fast recovery.

Hey girl you are still hanging in there. Yesterday looked like a war zone in the ER. Stay away until Wednesday. Hey I might see you over at Walmart today. he he he. I have to pick up some stuff. I will look for all the preggers women.

Ain't that the truth.....

I'll be heading out around 10. Wearing a black tank top and jean shorts. I hate the Walmart on 40. It's so yucky...., but it's close. I'll be the VERY pregnant one. ;)

Ethan is still asleep. I go to the one in Elkton. Do yo do the NewCastle Walmart:scared1: It really does scare me up there. And that is near where I grew up.

I refuse to pay sales tax in Elkton. I grew up in New Castle too. Okay, I'm PMing you.

It was great talking to you Jen!!!! To think we grew up less than a mile apart how crazy is that. Have fun at the scary WalMart. he he he he.

Delaware is a Small Wonder! It was great talking to you too.

I just appllied for the Disney Moms Panel, so everyone wish me luck!

Now, off to Walmart.....

That is great news I hope she continues to improve.

Thanks to you as well, Liz. We feel she may have turned the corner yesterday and will continue to do better, however it's going to take a long time for her to fully recover. This has really been a wake-up call for DH and me as both sets of our parents are still alive and have been pretty healthy.

We've always tried to give our parents privacy regarding their business affairs but realized when this happened that we have no idea what type of supplemental health insurance DMIL has...or anything else for that matter. :confused3

Oh well -- enough of this...let's get back to Jen's hemorhoids and missing belly button!!! :lmao:

I know I found out that a girl here on the Dis actually went to grad school with my sis it really is a small world!

Just wanted to pop in and wish you good luck on Wednesday. My daughter was born on September 10th... almost 12 years ago. I was induced and it was a beautiful day. 4 hours of labor and 45 minutes of pushing and my "little" 10 pound 6 ounce baby girl was born. She was the best baby out of my 4 kids. So easy and at almost 12, she still is an easy kid.

Good luck... I'll be keeping you in my thoughts.
