We just signed up for Vacation as you wish in Boston. I was curious as to what goes on at this event. Has anyone ever attended an event like this and if so what can we expect?
I don't know what all goes on but I would love to know. I tried to set up an appointment but when I called a recording said the number is not for calls from my Area Code. I live in NJ and can fly to Boston in half an hour. Isn't that silly? I mean not to take calls from my area. I guess they figure it is too far away and folks from my area code would probably not show up.
But thinking about it, I feel so discriminated against. Is this a law suit in the making--denied access to a public event due to unacceptable area-codeitis. I hear we are extremely contagious in NJ and that Boston and New England dwellers are correct in banning us from their events. I think it can be challenged in the Supreme Court.
Do you know if the offers will be the same when they open the NY site on Long Island? I am really curious about that since we border NY State.
I don't think what you are experiencing is intentional! Try calling the main DVC number, they should provide you with the web link to register. That is, unless DVC doesn't want any more customers from NJ....
