Who ever thought it was funny to say that the billboard sign near Epcot reveals information about DVC adding onto both the Polynesian & Contemporary is lying. I drove by this morning and the gift wrapped package is still gift wrapped. I don't understand why someone would think it would be funny to say such a thing to so many people. I too am excited to see what's coming but would never post such a statement to get a group of people into a frenzy... very sad....

BTW, I did speak with my guide the other day and I told him we needed AKLV or CRV and he told me that there would be an announcement in about a month and that it would be the 2nd one I said.He could not say CV I guess until it is announced.But he is the one that told me about a month before the AP holders were getting a discount but not to say anything.

BTW, he told me about CV that I did not hear that from him

If everyone is talking about the sign across from Bonnet Creek, we left BCV's yesterday at noon to go to the airport and there is a sign that says something about a secret being revealed but there was NOTHING about the Polynesian and Contempary on it, never mind any other resort. I hate to burst everyone's bubbles but as of yesterday at noon, I can report there was nothing like what is being described at that location.

If there was, I am living on a parellel universe.

Well, even though I'm disappointed, at least maybe half of the rumor is true. As long as they spruced up the pool a little, we'd love to own at CR.

If they did add either of these resorts, I wonder how much they will charge per point. My guess is that they will be expensive as there will be high demand. I also think the points required for a stay will be higher. Only time will tell.

I can't even afford an add-on right now and am just about having a heart attack with anticipation to find out if these rumors are true. Not a CR fan but love the Poly. (but my 1st choice still would've been AKL )

DVC did not charge extra for the BCV - so I don't think they will for Cont or Polyn - but I won't expect the sale type stuff they are doing for the SSR.

Yes I would dearly love a Dvc Polyn (would like a DVC Cont) - but the places I heard was over by the Disney's Spirit of Aloha Show - now I haven't looked at this area - but I don't remember a lagoon view being possible here?????

Plus these resorts would go off the DVC WDW hotels - some people would probably get upset over that.

If this were true, I would not expect them to charge more per point at a monorail resort.

But I would expect the point cost for a room to be the highest of any DVC resort.

So points would cost the same, you'd just need a lot more points for a stay.
