I am having a some trouble with these two websites.
Whenever I am logged into one, it makes me log out of the other one.
And when I enter my reservation number from DVC into disneyworld.com, it isn't recognized so it won't let me make any dining reservations.

Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?
I called MS and they were pretty much clueless.

Call the IT support. I think I ended up having to pick which account I wanted and now I have the same password at both sites.

I couldn't get logged into either dvcmember.com or the regular Disney site today. I finally was able to log in to the Disney Movie Rewards site with no problem, and from there I went to the main Disney site and it showed me as "logged in". From there, I clicked on the DVC link and it took me to a page that said "that page is not currently available."

I think there are general IT issues today. Both sites kept telling me my log on information was incorrect, but it has worked all the time up to this point, for years (and I have the same log on and password at ALL the Disney sites).

I decided to wait and try again tomorrow.

This happened to me when I first joined DVC -- I think someone recommended clearing out all the internet cookies and since I did that, I've been able to use both sites with whatever password I had established with each site. Of course, I had to re-log back into all the other sites that use cookies to remember me, but it's been fine since.

I didn't have any problems today, and I was hopping among the various Disney sites.

However, I learned in the past that I can avoid problems if I start by logging in from the DVC site and go from there. If I start at the main Disney site, or some of the related sites (like Disney Movie Rewards), and then try to go to DVCMember.com...my log in is not recognized and I get an error if I try log in there.

Anyone else have a similar experience?

Interesting. I'm off to clear out all my cookies/cache from all my browsers and try to start from scratch today and see what happens.

I had spoken to Tech Support one time because I was having major issues with logins and he told me to always be certain to logout of any Disney site I am on before heading to another as there can be issues if you don't and they are often linked. Ever since I followed the advice to hit the logout button I've never really had issues between the sites.

If I am logged into the waltdisneyworld.com website and then try to log into dvcmember.com I have to log out and put in my dvcmember info it is so annoying...

Agreed. I have to log into the DVC page first and then go to Disneyworld.com and it recognizes that I am logged in. Otherwise, it never works.

I called a few times about this, and each time the IT people were pretty clueless, so I am just leaving it alone.

Do DVC reservation numbers show up on disneyworld.com? Or are those numbers not recognized?

out of curiosity i tried this last night we are renting points for december ...under dvc ressies my ressie showed up and under disneyworld.com it said could not be found try again later. I will clear my cookies and try again later.

I just tried and am not having any issue. I'd call MS and ask them about. They may need to make some changes. I had an issue once with my DMR, WDW and WDL sites and they had to kill 2 and give me a single login.

I had to call. Luckily I did not spend an hour on the phone like goofy4tink did to get it fixed. Maybe 15 minutes but then they had to do more on it and they e-mailed me - told me what user name to use (I couldn't use the same user/e-mail address I had used previously) and then separately mailed my password - which I already knew.

They said it's definitely some kind of interplay quirk between the various Disney sites.

But thanks to Sarah and Buffy at DVC tech support.

Are you going to mydisneyreservation.com\dvc? That's where you have to look up DVC reservations.
